These are tough times we’re living in , probably the toughest any of us have ever experienced, and we are all making adjustments to how we live, spend money, invest and do business. It is my experience that most people make some changes in their normal routine but they never make enough adjustments to continue to be successful during economic downturns: probably because either they can’t grasp the magnitude of the changes that are necessary or they are unwilling to step up their efforts to replace easy money with sweat equity.
Randy Dinwiddie “ the Dealmaker” is an exception to this rule.
During the past 12 months we have started a new business, Rent-N-Go Autos, in what has turned out to be these challenging times. Even though our business model is solid and we are probably more immune to the recession than some other businesses we are a new business and new businesses struggle until people become aware of their existence. With the help of “the Dealmaker” we have gotten the message out that we’re open and what it is that we do and subsequently we have become successful more quickly than we had imagined that we could.
One constant throughout our short existence at Rent-N-Go is that we have advertised in the Dealmaker. We’ve tried radio and TV but nothing has worked for us as well as the inexpensive ads that we run in the Dealmaker. When we buy a radio ad for $30 we hope we get $30 of worth for our money but the person that sold us that ad doesn’t seem overly concerned whether we do or not. Randy Dinwiddie has given us more than we paid for in that not only has he constructed solid ads in more copies of his publication than he promised, he has personally hand delivered thousands of copies of the Dealmaker to businesses and homes throughout mid-Missouri. Randy stays in contact with me to make sure that his efforts are paying off for us. He is a real partner in what we are doing. Randy is doing the extra things necessary to make sure that the Dealmaker and Rent-N-Go Autos are both successful. Thanks Randy!
